It happens to all of us, we are heading out on vacation saying that we will try the local food and try to be healthy all at the same time. Well…in Malaga you can definitely do that. Below you will find a list of 5 healthy restaurants with lots of vegan and vegetarian options. You will find fresh, tasty and mouth watering dishes.


NicPic is a vegetarian restaurant with vegan options. Great atmosphere and service. Very cute and nicely decorated. I personally love their Nicburger which comes with fries. If you are looking for another option their bowls are very good as well.


We have visited NicPic several times. They offer different meal combos for breakfast and lunch, all affordable

They are open every day from 8am – 12am.
If you want to enjoy from home you can get it delivered through Glovo. Just download the app if you don’t have it.

Andino Gastrobar

They offer Latin America dishes in the traditional Spanish tapas style. This is a great place if you come with a group all everyone has different food choices. They do offer beef and chicken dishes as well as, seafood, and also cater to vegetarians and vegans. Another great restaurant with great service and amazing food.

Andino Gastrobar is open everyday from 1pm – 11:30pm. A great place to grab a drink and enjoy unique and delicious tapas.

Our all time favorite dish are the vegetarian Venezuelan arepas.

Astrid Tapas Organic

All healthy dishes made with natural ingredients. Like the previous restaurants, great service. We love their vegan salad but our ultimate favourite is their brownie with ice cream. I can easily say it is the BEST brownie I have ever had.

They offer salads, burgers and poke bowls which is what they are known for. Highly recommend trying the Maui or Oahu poke bowl, two of our favourites. They also offer a version with tofu if you don’t eat seafood or you have the option to create your own. If you are feeling lazy or want to eat at home you can always get it delivered through Glovo or UberEats.

El Vegetariano de la Alcazabilla

Located near the Roman Theater, in the heart of the historic centre. The food has a german, italian, spanish and argentinian influence. They offer vegan dishes and gluten free if that’s what you are looking for. Several yummy and tasty options. Food has that homemade feel and taste to it.
